HEC has announced the Talent Hunt Program (THP) funded by USAID to help deserving students prepare for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT). This program is specifically designed to support talented female students from low-income families who wish to pursue higher education but are unable to afford the expenses associated with professional entry test preparation workshops.

The main goal of this initiative is to identify bright female students with outstanding academic results in Matriculation and FA/FSc exams and provide them with entry test preparation workshops for admission to medical, engineering, and general universities in Pakistan. The deadline to apply for the USAID HEC Entry Test preparation is July 08, 2023.

To be eligible or the eligibility criteria for the USAID Talent Hunt MDCAT Preparation, students must be Pakistani or AJ&K nationals, belong to low-income families, and have obtained 80% or above marks in their Intermediate exams.

How To apply for the program, interested students can submit their applications online at https://talenthunt.hec.gov.pk. The HEC Committee will review the applications to determine the eligibility of each applicant. The selection process will consider academic records and the needs-based criteria established by the program. Offer letters will be issued to the top candidates based on the available slots.

The program provides various benefits, including a stipend for selected students. Additionally, a mock test will be conducted after the preparatory workshop to help students assess their readiness for the MDCAT exam.
