Wakf ur Rashid Trust is offering Scholarship to deserving and meritorious students at the University of Peshawar and Khyber Medical College, in accordance with the wishes of Sardar Abdur Rashid and Begum Masuda Rashid. The trust aims to support students financially by providing scholarships generated from allotted funds.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Regular students of Faculty of Numerical & Physical Sciences and Faculty of Life & Environmental Sciences can apply.
  • Full-time students who are enrolled or have sought admission in University of Peshawar or Khyber Medical College.
  • Full-time students who have obtained minimum 65% or equivalent marks in Intermediate level or maintaining an average of 65% or equivalent GPA (where applicable) in their annual examination or last semester.
  • Applicants who has genuine financial needs.
  • The Father/Legal Guardian’s monthly income should not exceed two times the Minimum Monthly Wages notified by the relevant provincial Government on the time of the submission of the scholarship application. (supporting documents should be provided)

APPLICATION PROCESS

Students interested in applying for a scholarship must submit the following documents to the Office of Financial Aid, University of Peshawar after announcement of the scholarships by the Trust. application must include:

  • Duly filled Application Form (available at office of the Financial Aid or online from University’s website)
  • A personal statement outlining the student’s academic and personal goals, as well as their reasons for applying for a scholarship
  • Copy of CNIC/B Form of the Applicant
  • Copy of CNIC of Father/Legal Guardian
  • Result card of Intermediate or latest official transcripts 
  • Copies of Latest utility bills
  • Letter of recommendation from the Head of Department for already enrolled student
  • Any other verifiable supporting documents (extra-curricular activities, community service etc.)
  • List of Guarantors, if a student is applying as medical students.
