The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK) is a government board in Karachi only for intermediate education examination. It was established as a separate entity in 1974. Karachi is the big city and has tremendous population over the Pakistan. Therefor Sindh Government decides to split Matric Karachi Board and Intermediate Karachi board in 1974. Apart from this Board, there is no board which is just responsible to conduct only Inter exams. BIEK Karachi is a larger board with high number of applicants every year. Karachi Inter Board is responsible to conduct 11th class and 12th class exams and result.
Every year Thousands of regular and private students submit application form for BIEK Inter exams.
